Cameron Ingersoll Roche was engaged to represent a defendant law firm in a legal malpractice suit pending in the Circuit Court for the City of Hampton, Virginia. The subject matter of the claim related to an underlying nursing home wrongful death/negligence case and the damages sought were $4 million. Sunny Cameron and Eric Waldman handled the defense of the law firm and, following an evidentiary hearing, convinced the Court that there was no legal or factual basis for the claim asserted against their client. As a result, Cameron Ingersoll Roche’s law firm client was dismissed from the suit, with prejudice.
